Permits to turn in old cars and buy newer models

(Letter to the editor) – A meeting was held on Sunday concerning car-buying permits and the sudden rise in the price of old cars. Authorities said at first only those who own old cars will get permits to swap old cars and import a new car. Now everyone who can pay $3,500 and tax will get the same permit; no more old cars needed for the permit. But the exception is that those who have no old car will be paying more tax than the owners of old cars.
